Mark Howland is an actuary with over 30 years of experience. His strong background in the Health Insurance industry includes leadership positions with large, national insurers United HealthCare and Aetna, and dominant local carriers Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts and ConnectiCare. His expertise ranges from pricing to underwriting, reserving and solvency analysis, government relations and health insurance reform, at the individual, group, Medicare, and Medicaid levels. He is adept at financial modeling and scenario testing.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in mathematics from the University of Hartford in Connecticut, and is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
